【番茄酸奶】Tomato Raita (Yogurt and Tomato Condiment)


各种酸奶是印度饮食习惯中很重要的一环,印度人相信酸奶营养价值很高,还帮助消化。这道番茄酸奶很简单,可是是很多主食的配菜喔!

Raita is a kind of condiment that goes with almost every Indian dishes. It is believed that it aids digestion and is very high in nutrients.

This tomato raita is easy to make and taste very well, a good side dish indeed.

材料:
1 杯 原味酸奶 (低脂也可)
1 小勺 糖
1 只 中型番茄 (切丁)
1/4 只 洋葱 (切碎)
 
调味:
1/4 小勺 盐
一撮孜然粉 (煸香) Optional
一撮辣椒粉 Optional

Ingredients:(3-4 servings)

1 cup Plain Yogurt
1/3 cup of water/milk
1 tsp Sugar
1 Medium size tomato (cut into small pieces)
1/4 onion (chopped)

Seasoning:
1/2 tsp Salt
A pinch of cumin powder (Roasted) Optional
A pinch of chili powder Optional



1.Whisk together 1/3-1/2 cup of water/milk with yogurt and sugar.

2. Chopped onion and tomato, mix it with yogurt, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3. Season with salt, roasted cumin powder and chili powder before serving. Add some chopped coriander if you prefer.

1. 酸奶混合 1/3-1/2 杯水和糖搅拌均匀。洋葱和番茄切丁,拌入酸奶里,冷藏30分钟。

2. 吃之前加入盐,孜然粉和辣椒粉调味。
